Born and raised in Fresno, Jesus Garcia is the dynamic CEO and Founder of High Performance Academy (HPA). With a passion for transforming sports and enrichment programs in the public and private sectors, Jesus started HPA’s journey in 2012 with a bag of soccer balls, local school in fresno, and a commitment to private training for young athletes.
From those humble beginnings, HPA rapidly evolved, formalizing with a bold vision that has led to extraordinary growth.
The organization expanded over 2,000 percent from 2022 to 2024 and has broadened its reach into major California cities.
Professional Achievements:
Global Partnerships: Forged strategic alliances with global sports properties such as AFC Bournemouth (EPL), FC Bayern (Bundesliga), and Valencia (ESP), contributing to HPA’s development strategies & expansion into the US markets.
Major Collaborations: Led impactful partnerships with Gatorade, bringing their sports equity project to over 20,000 youth participants, and became an official camp partner of Nike Sports Camps. Additionally, facilitated a strategic partnership with Adidas for HPA’s equipment and apparel needs.
Industry Recognition: Featured in the 40under40 Central Valley and a member of Leadership Fresno Class of 39.
Personal Background
An alumnus of Clovis Unified School District (2010 Graduate from Clovis East High School), Jesus played for California Odyssey Soccer Club and Fresno Fuego, now known as Central Valley Fuego FC, a current professional team. His dedication to sports and education stems from his roots in Fresno, with family origins in Mexico.
Family life
Jesus is a devoted husband and father of two. He cherishes spending time with his family, listening to podcasts, and enjoys traveling.
Personal Interest
Jesus still loves to play soccer and plays in adult soccer league at HPA’s facility in Clovis. He also enjoys listening to podcasts, staying engaged with the latest trends and insights in various fields.
