Personal Background
I have a strong academic foundation in kinesiology and psychology, which I’ve applied throughout my career in educational and sports-based programs. My path has been shaped by a deep belief in equity, inclusion, and empowering underrepresented youth through education and athletics.
Family Life
I come from a traditional Hmong family and am the tenth of eleven children. In our household, it wasn’t considered acceptable for women to play sports, but my passion began when I would secretly play soccer with my brothers. Those early moments sparked a lifelong love for athletics and set the foundation for the path I’m on today.
Hobbies & Interests Outside of Work
Hiking, camping, salsa and bachata dancing, and training in jiu-jitsu. These keep me grounded, energized, and ready to lead by example.
